From September 23 to September 24, HouZiliang, a professor level senior engineer who is the former chairman of Thermal Automation Standardization Technical Committee of Electric Power Industry, held a boiler drum level measurement technology seminar in Beijing Yulong Grand Hotel. At the seminar, HouZiliang explained new boiler drum level measurement technology while Mr Liu Jichuan, general manager of HDSC, explained the problems existing in drum level measurement and their solutions. Internal Probe Type Water Column turned out to be a success after experiment, and the new column aroused strong repercussions from experts present at the seminar. Internal Probe Type Water Column also marked that there would be a new a reference column among the whole present water level gauges. This seminar was significant to the development and application of boiler drum water level measurement technology.
